Abby J. (AJ) Reed is the author of THE SIRKEL GALAXY and THE LIGHT GALAXY series, as well as the memoir THE COLOR OF PAIN. She has a degree in English Writing, a certificate in Spiritual Formation, and is drawn to characters with physical limitations due to her own neurological disorder called Chronic Migraine. Abby lives in Colorado with her family and fluffy gremlin. If her hands aren’t on the keyboard, they are stained purple and blue with paint.

I have a degree in English Writing and a grad certificate in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. I have a neurological disorder called Chronic Migraine. I’ve had migraine since pretty much birth, but have been chronic/status for over ten years. This means I’ve basically been living with a 24/7 migraine for over fifteen years and makes me a Pro Migraineur. When jogging the creative juices and avoiding migraines, I’ll paint. You can find some prints of my work on Society 6.
Like most writers, I fell in love with stories early and what if? is the greatest siren song to me. I’m always reading three books at a time. I have a monthly-ish newsletter where I share writing updates, bookish thoughts, sales and book recs.
