Official Bio:
Abby J. Reed is the author of the STARS FALL CIRCLE series and the memoir THE COLOR OF PAIN. She has a degree in English Writing and is drawn to characters with physical limitations due to her own neurological disorder called Chronic Migraine. Abby lives in Colorado with her husband and two fluffy pups. If her hands aren’t on the keyboard, they are stained purple and blue with paint.

Not-so-official Bio:

If I could buy you a cup of something warm while we chat over the cliched peaceful lake with snow-capped mountains hovering in the background, I would.

But since I can’t . . .

My debut novel, When Planets Fall, was published by Soul Mate Publishing and is the first in a trilogy. WHOO!! *Enter crazy happy dance*

I have a degree in English Writing and a grad certificate in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. (which means I am a certified spiritual director, though I do not actively practice.) I have a neurological disorder called Chronic Migraine. I’ve had migraine since pretty much birth, but have been chronic/status for over ten years. This means I’ve basically been living with a 24/7 migraine for over a decade and makes me a Pro Migraineur. When jogging the creative juices and avoiding migraines, I’ll paint. You can find some prints of my work on Society 6 and originals here on my website.

I’m from California; my husband is from Delaware; we live in Colorado. We’ve had the rings on our fingers for ten years.

We have two spoiled dogs that are pretty much my children. (AKA: I take too many pics of them and buy them too many toys).

I love to blog about fiction and the creative process and art. I’ll also throw out random encouragements for those who struggle with chronic pain.
