A Challenge Poem to Myself

I’ve been challenged by reading Speak What We Feel (Not What We Ought To Say) by Frederick Buechner. As the title suggests, the book analyzes four different writers and their works–how they infused their work with the truth of what they went through. They were honest about what they really felt as to what they were supposed to say.

And I realized I do a horrible job of that. Especially when the topic is around migraines.

My challenge to myself was to mull over all those gushy feelings about chronic migraine and trying to find a way to express it.

Here’s the result of my challenge:Noone_poem

I don’t claim to be any poet, but I am proud of trying to do this!
