Hello blog of mine! It’s my first post for the new decade, so, like everybody…
What are your New Year goals? Here are my anti-goals

I’m not into making New Year resolutions. Mostly because my body tends to malfunction randomly like my iPhone through the year, keeping me from completing them. And I’m a terrible loser. Losing sucks. (ahem–my cheat of NaNo 2014)
2014 did not go the way I wanted it to. I got sick at the beginning of the year with fake-hepatitis for a solid two months (I mean, really, if I’m going to sick why not with the real deal? What heroic points are gained by saying you had faux hepatitis?) and my migraine injections kind of backfired, which caused me another 3 months. I had hoped to be already querying RBRP.
But 2015 is going to be different.
Because I’m going to cheat again.
I’m setting anti-goals:
1. I’m not going to beat myself up if my migraines won’t behave.
2. I’m not going to take on too many projects at once. (aka: cooking, drafting, migraining, herding Randy, brainstorming another WIP, Pinteresting, and Vampire Diaries all at once.)
3. I’m not going to push my body to make myself reach my daily writing goals (which translates, I will make sure I stop working when my body says stop for long term benefits)
By this anti-strategy, I will win. I will conquer. I will dominate. I will rule the world.
GREAT resolution post today! I hope that your body cooperates with you in 2015.
I also have a resolution post, and am so excited to see what a new year will bring! BTW your blog is amazing. 🙂

[…] However, earlier this January, I decided to set real creative goals. Knowing that yearly tornadoes happen, especially when dealing with my disorder, I had adjusted my goals to make them more doable. While I’m thinking crap, time to face reality, I’m also really curious to see how closely I guessed. Where they actually doable for me? Or do I need to change my goal strategy for 2017? Or should I just go back to my anti-goals. […]
